Joan Kroc dreamed of a place where people could explore, learn, and find ways to enrich their lives -- including visual and performing arts. At the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, we offer a variety of Creative Arts classes to help you learn new skills and discover new ways to explore your creativity.

Creative Arts activities are designed for all ages, and our professional staff is here to help you discover your unique talents and gifts.

• Classes in drama, music, and various styles of dance for all ages are offered throughout the year.
• Visual arts classes include pottery, drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor, collage, china painting and jewelry making.
• All of our instructors are experienced professionals in their respective fields.
• Our Education Center includes 8 classrooms and features a Dance Studio, Art Room, and Pottery Studio.
• Our Assembly Hall offers flexible performance space and seats up to 525.

Pablo Picasso once said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”  We invite you to experience the Creative Arts classes at the Kroc Center. It might be the first step toward making your life even brighter.

Open Art Studio and Open Pottery Studio

 Open Art Studio

Enjoy the benefits of membership with Open Art Studio Fridays, 5pm

Explore your creative side! Our Art Room is open for you to spend time learning and practicing your artistic skills. Open Studio is not a structured class, but an opportunity to work independently on art projects of your choice. Staff will be on hand to offer advice or assistance. Some materials are available for your use, or you can bring your own! Open to individuals 8 and older.

Open Pottery Studio

Join us Thursdays at 5pm for Open Pottery Studio!
Open Pottery is available for members if you have been enrolled or are currently enrolled in a pottery class and have completed 8 weeks of instruction.

Need Clay for your Projects? Purchase a Clay Punch Card and get 10 pounds of clay for just $10. Available at the Welcome Desk.



Piano Lessons!

Private piano lessons are available for beginners or students that need a refresher course. Lessons are scheduled one time per week in half hour increments and are offered on afternoons and evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.
