Within The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center’s “Doors of Opportunity”, there are so many things to do and ways to grow. Joan Kroc envisioned a place where individuals of all ages would have an opportunity to explore their unique gifts and talents – including being more “fit” and active.
Our fitness staff is strongly committed to providing services and classes which best fit your needs. We’re also actively engaged in specifically offering programs for all ages and ability levels. Learn martial arts at the Kroc Center! This 4-week class is designed as an introduction to Kicking Tigers Taekwondo. Learn a variety of techniques, including blocks, strikes, evasions and throws. Those ages 8 and up are encouraged to participate together as a family and younger students ages 5-7 have their own special class (parents are encouraged to watch if they like). New this year - Adult classes! These classes are very limited so sign up soon!

Access to the Fitness Deck is limited to guest 16 years of age or older, unless teen is enrolled in or has successfully completed a Kroc Teen Fitness class.
This 4-week class is designed to introduce teens to strength training and use of the cardio machines on the fitness deck. Teens receive instruction on proper use of the equipment, learn about basic human movement and go into detail on exercise form. After successful completion of the class, teens (age 10-15) may receive special permission to use the Fitness Deck. Must attend all classes consecutively to complete the class. Teen Fitness classes have a maximum class size of eight individuals. Please register early to ensure yourself a spot... and invite your friends to sign-up, too!

Small Group Training
Looking for a low cost way to train with friends, family, co-workers or like minded fitness buffs?
Try 90 for 90!, a way for small groups to get exactly the training they want in a very personalized atmosphere! These 90 minute sessions are for 3-8 individuals. They are scheduled on an independent basis with a trainer or instructor of your choice who focuses on the goals of the group. This is a great way to develop those techniques for kickboxing, enjoy a bootcamp with a little more sweat or tackle 90 minutes of upper body strength training exercises. The possibilities are endless and what is offered is up to you!
