Scheduled to open in the Fall of 2009, this 120,000 sq. ft. family life center will include many components. (See photo gallery below)

Facility rentals will also be available. Whether it's for a group of five or 600, business meeting or a birthday party, the Kroc Center has a first-class rental space that's just right for you.

Aquatic Complex: Features a mini-water park with a zero-depth entry recreation pool, lazy river, slide, other water activities, and a six-lane, 25 yard lap and competitive pool.  This 600 plus capacity indoor aquatic center is bound to be a big splash.

Athletic Complex: This area of the Kroc Center hosts three gyms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, aerobics exercise room, and a large game room.  A great feature is the ability to turn the gymnasiums into an indoor soccer field.

Recreation Fields: The outdoor soccer area contains one adult-size field and one junior field.  These fields may be converted into four to six youth-size  fields and used for soccer, flag football, and other outdoor activities. Sports such as baseball and tennis are available in the parks adjacent to the Kroc Center through a joint-use agreement between The Salvation Army and the City of Omaha Recreation Department.

Performing Arts & Assembly:  This beautiful, 600 seat assembly complex provides a wood floor performing stage for plays, concerts, recitals, dance, etc.  Dressing rooms, showers, scene shop, lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system make this a versatile area for the performing arts and can also accomodate conferences, concerts, worship, and other meetings or program functions.

Education Center:  Houses a large computer lab, reading and study area for all ages, studio classrooms for music and dance instruction, fine arts and classrooms for general teaching and training. 

The Commons:  This majestic glassed-in area has the capacity to seat 400 people.  For leisure reading, relaxing, formal programs, wedding receptions and special events this stunning room is a sure winner.

Commercial Kitchen:  This large kitchen has the capacity to prepare food for concessions, party rooms and various menus for small groups, large groups and everything in between.

Party Rooms:  The three party rooms are available for birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, etc.  Children and adults will be attracted to this added feature.

Kids' Zone:  A spacious indoor activity area that features an attached outdoor playground  for children to enjoy while mom and dad are in the fitness center, computer lab or other program areas.

Festival Plaza:  This spacious outdoor area is a beautiful setting for neighborhood gatherings, cultural festivals, concerts, relaxing walks in the fresh air amidst the flowers and trees, and other large events.  One feature is the specially designed stage and sound system which allows bands, performances, plays and other programs to be presented in this unique open air setting.
