Considered one of the “Crown Jewels” of Omaha’s Kroc Center, the 17,000 + square foot Aquatics Center will be a popular south Omaha destination spot for people of all ages.
The two-pool facility which holds more than 600 people includes:
- Recreation pool featuring a zero-depth entry, lazy stream, 75 lineal foot water slide and bench seating
- Six-lane, 25- yard competition pool
- A total of 210,451 gallons of water in both pools
A ten-foot pool deck surrounds both pools. Spectator seating is also available near the competition pool area.
Our competition pool has a water surface area of 3,433 square feet with 128,574 gallons of water and a bather-load of 196 people. Swimming competitions, swimming lessons, water fitness classes, water basketball, water volleyball and lap swimming are just some of the activities planned for this state-of-the-art center.
Our leisure pool has a water surface area of 4,321 square feet and holds 81,877 gallons of water with a bather-load of 288 people. Swimming lessons, water fitness classes, Float and Flick movies, Family Fun Nights, senior activities and birthday parties are just a few of the many activities you’ll find at the Kroc Center recreation pool.
Please note: the Kroc Center pools may be closed for short periods to
conduct required maintenance. Swimming suits are required. No street clothes will be allowed in the pool.
