
The Salvation Army Western Division, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, includes 28 Corps Community Centers in Nebraska, South Dakota and Western Iowa. The Omaha Salvation Army, established in 1886, offers more than 20 social service programs that provide basic human necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to those in need. Last year, more than 170,000 people received assistance through various programs including homelessness prevention, child and family services, senior services and disaster relief.
In addition to The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, The Salvation Army operates the Gene Eppley Camp, the Adult Rehabilitation Center and four community and worship centers in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.
